As a parent, I seek to be the first and primary source of information my children turn to regarding sexual matters. I believe sexual education is foremost the responsibility of a child's parents, but far too many parents struggle with teaching their children about it. 

Over the last weekend, a pair of articles regarding the Church and free speech popped up on my Facebook feed.

Last month, Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf delivered a talk during priesthood session titled "On Being Genuine." Explaining the almost comical concept of the Potemkin Village and how many people personally erect false facades to hide their much more realistically mediocre circumstances.

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we often refer to “The world”, and rarely as a positive thing.

It's been a couple weeks since Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for president. And while many democrats are firmly in her camp, others have raised concerns and speculations have been in the air about who might challenge her.

I was reading a report published by the US Chamber of Commerce's research foundation the other day and came across this statement. I was surprised:

Not too long ago, my wife sat in a temple recommend interview.  The member of the Stake Presidency got to this question: “Do you support, affiliate with, or agree with any group or individual whose teachings or practices are contrary to or oppose those accepted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?"

We are at a crucial time in the debate over healthcare access for the poor in the state of Utah.

Dear Fellow Democrats, Let me start out by claiming my naivety.
